Research

Mission Statement

The mission of the Research Committee of the European Association for Aquatic Mammals is to facilitate research with both wild and captive marine mammals.  We believe that research with captive animals complements that with wild animals, and that both sorts of research are necessary to understand the genetics, physiology, and behavior of marine mammals.
